So far, the fall has been chock-full of new turntable releases, from Goldring announcing its first turntable in 20 years to Victrola announcing its most expensive turntable that “Works with Sonos.” Also, Pro-Ject, the popular Austrian turntable maker, has just been on a heater, seemingly releasing new models every other week.
Below, we round up the latest turntable releases from the last two months.
Pro-Ject T1 Evo

• Release date: October 2024
The Pro-Ject T1 Evo is an upgraded version of its entry-level T1 turntable (which was released in late 2019 and is seemingly being phased out). It looks similar to its predecessor — including the signature high-mass tempered glass platter — but boasts a higher-end cartridge, new electronic speed change and a larger sub-platter.
