Despite overhauling its entire AirPods lineup this fall — with the introduction of two AirPods 4 (with and without ANC), new AirPods Max with USB-C charging, and discontinuing its older AirPods and AirPods 3 — Apple didn’t announce new AirPods Pro. It still currently sells the same USB-C charging models that it released last year.
That said, arguably the biggest news from Apple’s fall event involved those “old” AirPods Pro — Apple graded them (via a software update) with a clinical hearing aids feature approved by the FDA. It’s quite incredible.
Both AirPods Pro (USB-C) and second-generation AirPods Pro (Lightning) support this hearing aid feature.
The other neat thing is that, since it’s Black Friday, Apple’s high-end wireless earbuds are cheaper than ever. In fact, they’re more affordable than its AirPods 4 (with noise-cancellation). Pretty nuts.
Additionally, Amazon is heavily discounting several other new AirPods, including the non-ANC AirPods 4 and the USB-C charging AirPods Max. Check out the deals below.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C)
Even after Apple unveiled the new AirPods 4, the AirPods Pro 2 are still the most advanced AirPods Apple sells. They have the best audio quality and most powerful noise cancellation of any of Apple’s wireless earbuds. Thanks to a software update, they’re also now equipped with new hearing health and hearing aid functionality. This is the lowest price we’ve seen this pair hit to date.
Released this past September, Apple’s new entry-level AirPods have the same open-air design (no silicone ear tips) and sound exactly like the AirPods 4 with active noise-cancellation — both have the same H2 chip and internal acoustic architecture. They share some of the same higher-end features, such as Personalized Volume and support for spatial audio, too. This is the first time they’ve been discounted.
The AirPods 4 with Active Noise-Cancellation are Apple’s midrange wireless earbuds. They have the same open-air design and fit as the entry-level AirPods 4 and the exact same sound quality. However, the exact $50 gets you some pretty notable upgrades, including noise-cancellation and transparency modes. The other big improvement is that the charging case supports wireless charging and has a built-in speaker (for Find My). This is the lowest price they’ve hit so far.
This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen the latest version of Apple’s AirPods Max headphones hit. They are exactly the same as the 2020-released noise-canceling headphones — same abilities thanks to its (now-older) H1 chip and same fit—but they’ve been updated with USB-C charging (instead of Lightning) and a couple of new colorways. This is the first time these new models have been discounted.
Apple’s 2020-released noise-canceling headphones are exactly the same as the new versions, except they charge via Lightning instead of USB-C and are available in different color finishes. Despite being older, they’re still some of the best noise-canceling headphones for iPhone users. Admittedly, they’ve been heavily discounted for some time, but this is the best price we’ve seen.
