The act of giving a teacher an apple on the first day of class is more than charm and tradition, it’s backed by practicality. The student gives it because they know the teacher will eat it. This concept works for getting your boss a holiday gift, too. You want to get them something that they will use. Forget the gift cards — that’s the easy way out. Instead, with a little bit of information (like their working habits and what gadgets are essential to them), you can give them something that will stay with them and develop a patina — whether the gift is leather or not.
Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 68

The Zodiac Sea Wolf dates back to 1953, a time well before digital dive meters. Over the past few years, the company has relaunched its line of dive watches in slimmer and slightly larger models — this Super Sea Wolf 68 is one of those. It retains the rotating timing bezel, thin angled lugs, triangular dial markers and vintage charm of the original Super Sea Wolf from 1968. It has a 100 ATM water resistance rating, well more than the 20 ATM of the original 1953 Sea Wolf. Additionally, this model has a sapphire crystal lens, STP 1-11 autthird party repomatic movement and a rubber strap.
