The Aerohead Ultimate MIPS made its debut at the 2015 Tour De France, when Rohan Dennis rode it to victory and, in the process, set the race record for fastest average speed in a prologue. It is designed for the pursuit of pure speed: a smaller profile and reduced ventilation mean minimal drag, and its shell, made from lightweight carbon fiber, cuts down on weight. Giro’s patented MIPS (multi-directional impact protection system) allows the helmet to move separate from your head in the event of a collision (so it doesn’t slide off) and the magnetically attached ZEISS Optics lens provides a massive, clear field of view. There is simply no helmet better suited to setting all-time speed records and keeping you safe.
