As the last of the old V8 Vantages — and, more to the point, the last of the old iteration of Aston Martin the company — the Vantage GT8 represents the pinnacle of the marque’s entry-level performance. The GT8 may look similar to a “standard” V8 Vantage, but it was ultimately designed to mimic Aston’s successful Le Mans GT car. It’s sculpted from lightweight carbon fiber, shaped to cut through the air as efficiently as possible and given motivation from a race-proven V8. The GT8 will be remembered as the end of an era.
