Lenovo Yoga Book

A magic keyboard appears and disappears.

The Lenovo Yoga Book is incomparable to other processing machines. Its design falls somewhere between the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple’s new 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and its touch-sensitive panel (where the typical hybrid’s keyboard would be) helped it pick up a Red Dot Design Award. A keyboard appears when you want to type; when you want to use the stylus pen, the keyboard disappears, allowing you to write notes in your own script. You can also write on it with a regular ink pen if you lay a piece of paper over the panel. No other two-in-one hybrid can do that.

Of course, the Lenovo Yoga Book is still meant to take the place of your current tablet or lightweight laptop. It has a traditional touchscreen display, can run Windows or Android, and boasts a folding flat-panel back so you can hold it one-handed. The final kicker? The price. For $550, you get the whole kit and caboodle, stylus included, which puts this stellar device in everyone’s wheelhouse.
