Elements: Music Festival

This isn’t Woodstock, and it’s not the club.

The problem with the current state of music festivals these days is that it’s more about being seen then who you’re seeing. What should be the case is that the music (and maybe some of the food) is the sole reason we spend a weekend romping around in the latest Woodstock grandchild. But gear is still key: sunscreen, shades and comfortable shoes should be your creed. A short-sleeve t-shirt for the early sets and a button-up for the headliners. Don’t be ridiculous with sandals; your toes need cover for day-long walking. Bring a portable charger for your phone — between the documenting and locating your friends, your phone will need some extra juice. And a light rain jacket comes in handy more often then you think. Oh, and if we catch you with a selfie stick, you’ve earned fifty lashings.
