At the time of writing, there are about 800,000 denim shirts available. It’s just about impossible to pick one over the other. They all look roughly the same, and at the end of the day they’ll all conceal your nipples.

Start with 4.4-ounce Japanese soft denim that’s going to age well and feel fantastic from day one; add Italian Mother of Pearl buttons (which are probably a lot more stylish than American or Albanian Mother of Pearl Buttons); and then send the whole package to get cut and sewn in the great state of California. The result is damn near impeccable. The trim-but-not-too-slim shirt features selvedge from the placket to pocket, a contrast striped lining and a really beautiful, slightly loose indigo weave that you won’t stop staring at and rubbing between your fingers. So stop wasting your time shopping all the denim shirts on the internet and just pull the trigger on this one already. It’s worth it.
